We are proud to bring back Commonwealth Theatre: Blue Apple Players for their 7th year of performances in partnership with Communities In Schools of Clark County (CIS of Clark County).  This performance is provided by the Indiana Arts Commission grant and with funding support from Duke Energy Foundation to CIS of Clark County.

This year’s performance is titled A Molly Whuppie Adventure, an Appalachian folk tale.  Molly Whuppie is a spunky heroine at the center of dangerous and wondrous adventures in Appalachia.  In this tale, Molly falls into a magical world where her bravery and kindness among fantastical creatures bring reward.

The students are very appreciative of these performances:

“Thank you Blue Apple Players for putting on one amazing show. I loved all your fables. They were all so

cool because at the end of each fable it told a valuble lesson. I thought it was funny how you tried to make sure that

Mr. H didn’t tell any of his stories because he always took up all your time telling his asaps. Allso I really liked how

you all made costooms out of things you might have at home like the eagle how it was just a jacket and ties.”

“Thank you for coming to our school. I loved the plays with wolves and Jackles those are some of my

favorite animals. You were super awesome!”
